Mr. Elephant Shit (Elepantae)

On the ancient land of Cubao, where the famous Colisuem of Araneta still stands, there lived a tragicomic elephant named Dumbo Camuning. Living in Cubao is no easy life even for an elephant. Like the other elephants, Dumbo is trained from the moment they can walk to be public performers.

Appearing in public is common in the land where Dumbo comes from. Many of its elephant friends are actually entertainers but they don't share the same enthusiasm that Dumbo possesses. Dumbo is not contented with performing in the ancient land of Cubao, it wants to aim higher or in modern times, to go big time. What did dumbo do? He started paving the way for its intended career by convincing some of its acquaintances to support it. But that wasn't enough. It has to look for the best to guarantee it of success. Dumbo searched and searched until it found the most competent, the bravest and willing people it can find. Dumbo then told these fine young men and women of its plans, and they agreed to help it. Everything was fine but unfortunately, things did not go as expected. dumbo, being confident and heavily relying on this newfound people, became complacent.

Then one day, dumbo disappeared without a trace. The brave and competent men and women wondered where dumbo went but some of them suggested that life was better without dumbo, he was a complacent, incompetent creature anyway. He had the knack of raising ones hopes and leaving them to take a plunge to misery when things don’t go as planned. Well, not really as planned since the plan was never executed in the first place. Dumbo disappeared when they were just about to execute it.

Rumor has it that Dumbo, making use of his public performing skills, became a public figure somewhere in the grassy lands of a province somewhere in the northern part of the country where he resides. There he lived a big time life as a politician. But that is just a rumor. There is also another rumor of dumbo winning a contest. The strange thing is the contest was held after he mysteriously disappeared. How can a missing creature win a contest that was held after he disappeared? Its like a dead person voting in an election...but then again, that is a possibility in some parts of the world...

Lesson of the story: not because someone is big, and talks big means he is going to live a big time life, sometimes big things are just filled with a load of crap. But then again, even a creature filled with a load of crap can still live a big life cause life is unfair...actually there is no lesson, just making it up as I write. Its an idiotic weird tale after all...
