Another memory fragment

back in highschool, i remember the school's guidance counselor telling me that my IQ was 139, and that it was just a point short from 140. when i shared this to my classmates, they laughed at me. why? because they thought, when i said i was a point short of 140, i meant i was only one point short in the IQ exam to reach the level of 140. when they finally understood that the 1 point referred to 139 plus 1 equals to 140, they laughed saying that getting to 140 isnt just 1 point in the exam, its equivalent to a corresponding number of points before i upgrade to 140. anyway, after that, i didnt feel like a 139.
