dream recall: Dupan

went to Dupan. dont even know if such a place exists. how did i know i went to Dupan? easy, i explicitly asked my companions where we were and they said "Dupan". it was like a getaway of some sort. i woke up in that dream to find out i was there. and my companions were a bit worried about my health, thinking how i would probably manage to be there with my health condition.

we were in a room. and when i looked outside, it looked like at first an informal settler's community within a forest. but thats just what it looked like at first. upon closer inspection, it seemed like a place where human civilization managed to co-exist with nature. its like a place with a higher level of technology where houses and human communities can be built within a forest without disrupting the ecosystem. after seeing that, i looked around the room to see how many people i was with. it seemed more than 5 but less than 10. familiar faces that i know, no one new (eiln, dhirt, yarn, inni, nohj, cant remember the rest). i cant remember how i got there. it seemed that the last thing i remembered before waking up in that room was that eiln was tampering with my locker. after that, i woke up there and asked where we were. then i took my cellphone which gave me clues on what happened in between. it seemed like i switched personalities after the lock-tampering incident and getting to Dupan. in my phone (which was more technologically advanced) was a video of the trip to Dupan. we went there by bus, stopped by a mall to eat lunch (japanese food!). the mall, again, showed signs of higher level of technology. but the video were just short clips of the trip so it didnt really give a good picture of how i got there. and that dream of being in such a place somehow gave me a that refreshing feeling. something like reinvigorating. something i rarely feel. i wouldnt have wanted to wake up but it was already 11am and had a 1pm class. tsk. had to cut the dream short.

it was just an interesting dream. havent had an interesting one for weeks.
